CVS CAREMARK CHARITY CLASSIC ANNOUNCES PAIRINGS
Mixed Teams Populate 2012 Pairings
BARRINGTON, Rhode Island (June 5, 2012) – CVS Caremark Charity Classic co-hosts Brad Faxon and Billy Andrade today announced the pairings for the 14th edition of the charity golf tournament, scheduled for June 17-19 at Rhode Island Country Club.
In the spirit of the CVS Caremark Charity Classic’s popular mixed-team format, nine of the ten teams will be co-ed. Co-hosts Faxon and Andrade will be the sole same-gender team. This will be the fifth time the duo has partnered, with their best finish in 2003 (2nd place). The pairings for the 2012 CVS Caremark Charity Classic are:

Keeping things fresh and exciting, the tournament format will be slightly altered for 2012 with Tuesday's play being changed to a scramble format. With primarily mixed teams, the format change will keep day two of the tournament exciting and the victory in any team’s reach.
The CVS Caremark Charity Classic uniquely offers sports enthusiasts the chance to enjoy world-class golf in a relaxed atmosphere while helping to support hundreds of New England area charities. Tournament week begins with the Pepsi Pro-Am on Sunday, June 17 followed by the two-day tournament on Monday, June 18-Tuesday, June, 19 at the Rhode Island Country Club.

Tickets for the 2012 CVS Caremark Charity Classic are available through a special offer at CVS/pharmacy stores in Rhode Island as well as select CVS/pharmacy locations in Southeastern Massachusetts. In addition, fans can purchase a three-day pass ($60) or single, good-any-day tickets ($25) by calling 866-CVS-9441 or visiting cvscharityclassic.com for a mail-in application. Children 17 and under are free with a ticketed adult. The tournament also offers tickets to the Wine Pavilion presented by Robert Mondavi Private Selection. Open to attendees ages 21 or older, the Wine Pavilion is located between the 16th and 17th fairways along Narragansett Bay and offers daily food and wine samplings provided by award-winning Robert Mondavi, Clos Du Bois and Blackstone wines. Offering spectacular, close-up views of tournament play, tickets to the pavilion tent are $50 per day.
