Tournament co-host Billy Andrade returns for his 15th consecutive appearance in the CVS Caremark Charity Classic. Born and raised in Bristol, Rhode Island, Andrade’s PGA TOUR wins include the Kemper Open (1991), the Buick Classic (1991), the Bell Canadian Open (1998) and the Invensys Classic (2000). He is a member of both the Rhode Island Golf Hall of Fame (inducted in 2001) and the Wake Forest Hall of Fame (inducted in 2004). In 1990, Andrade and fellow tournament co-host Brad Faxon founded the Billy Andrade/Brad Faxon Charities for Children, a foundation that has since raised more than $7.5 million to improve the lives of at-risk children in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts. In recognition of their charitable efforts, Billy and Brad received the 1999 Golf Writers Association of America’s Charles Bartlett Award, the 2002 American Heart Association’s Gold Heart Award and the 2002 Ambassadors of Golf Award.
